RoHS 6/6 Compliance      RoHS66.jpg
    • RoHS6/6 compliance indicates that none of the six hazardous substances are present in the device.
    • These parts can be identified by the green RoHS 6/6 diamond above.

RoHS5/6 Compliance     RoHS56.jpg

    • RoHS5/6 compliance indicates that 5 out of the 6 hazardous substances are not present in the device.  However, these devices do contain Lead (Pb), as permitted by the following exemptions specified in the Annex of the RoHS directive:

                                                               i.      Lead in glass of cathode ray tubes, electronic components and fluorescent tubes.

ii.      Lead in solders for servers, storage and storage array systems.

iii.      Lead in solders for network infrastructure equipment for switching, signaling, transmission as well as network management for telecommunication.

    • These parts can be identified by the blue RoHS 5/6 diamond above.

Current RoHS status of Valpey Fisher products fall into three categories:

  1. Parts that have always been RoHS 6/6 compliant
    • These parts have always met RoHS compliance so no changes are required – part numbers will remain the same.
    • These parts can be identified by a green RoHS 6/6 diamond on the data sheet.

  1. Parts that will become RoHS 6/6 compliant by June 30, 2006
    • These parts will be RoHS 6/6 compliant by June 30, 2006 – part numbers will remain the same.
    • After June 30, 2006, the old parts will only be available until our inventory is depleted.
  2. Parts that will not have a RoHS 6/6 compliant version.
    • These parts are RoHS 5/6 compliant as they do contain Lead (Pb).  We do not plan to offer these parts in a RoHS 6/6 compliant version.
